The documentation service offers free access to its generous resources to researchers, students and art professionals on appointment. The resources can only be consulted on the premises but it is possible to make copies.

The Library

A library specialised in art history from the medieval period to the beginning of 20th century, containing more than 10 000 documents including 200 journal titles, 3000 artist monographs and 4000 exhibition catalogues.

Documentary resources

Documentary resources including almost 4000 dossiers on artworks (around 2000 paintings and 2000 sculptures), 600 dossiers on artists and exhibitions dossiers. These dossiers collate archive elements, bibliographic and iconographic elements about the works and the artists featuring in the Musée des Augustins collections.
