Every year for the past 20 years, between October and May, the Arts Renaissants group, founded by Xavier Darasse in 1982, has been inviting famous performers and talented youngsters to play in the flamboyant setting of the Red Gallery. These concerts take place once a month at 9.00 pm in the room where the museum's 19th Century paintings and sculptures are displayed, and feature works ranging from the Middle Ages right up to contemporary music.
