About the exhibition

The inner courtyard is a space rich in sociological, architectural and historical backgrounds.

For the artist, it is a place where history unfolds but also a setting for the public or private lives of its figures. Somewhere between interior and exterior, this space allows the painter to associate the light of day with the protective shadow of intimateness, the pomp of grand events and the warmth of the home.
